Med Spa Services For Men
Reduce Fine Lines and Wrinkles
The injectable product we use has been offered therapeutically for more than 17 years to treat a variety of medical conditions. It is approved in more than 75 countries and remains the most-studied product and one of the most widely researched medicines in the world. The product is used for treatment of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people ages 18 to 65.
During treatment, very low doses of the product are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible for frown lines between the brows. By blocking the release of a chemical that causes these muscles to contract, the product enables them to relax. The effects are very localized and, when administered by an experienced medical professional, do not affect your ability to smile, laugh, or otherwise show expression. We offer the only product of its kind that has been approved for use in this area.
What causes frown lines between the brows?
The lines that appear between your brows actually result from muscle movement and the passage of time. When powerful muscles between the brows contract, they draw the brows together, causing the skin to fold or furrow. As skin becomes less elastic with age, those folds or furrows result in stubborn lines.

What are the common side effects?
The most common side effects following injection include temporary eyelid droop and nausea. Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/bruising may be associated with the injection.
What is the treatment like?
The treatment is a quick and minimally invasive procedure consisting of a few tiny injections. Your practitioner will determine exactly where to administer these injections to achieve the best results for you. No anesthesia is required, though he or she may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream prior to injecting. The entire procedure takes approximately 10 minutes, and there is no downtime afterward. Discomfort is minimal and brief. Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/swelling may be associated with the injection.
Will I still be able to make facial expressions? Although you may see a marked improvement, the treatment does not make you look like you’ve “had work done.” The muscle activity that causes frown lines is simply reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.
How soon will I see a difference?
You can expect to see results within days after your treatment, and the appearance of the area between your brows may continue to improve for up to a week.

What is the treatment and how does it work?
The active ingredient is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin it destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
The shot is an alternative to liposuction or surgery to treat double-chin fat.
How many rounds of treatment do you need, and what results should you expect?
It varies, patients will need a series of 12-20 injections per visit. You may need two to three total visits, spaced a month apart. Each treatment takes about 15 minutes.
Since everyone’s chin profile is different, the number of treatments varies from patient to patient. Your health care specialist will help determine how many treatment sessions you need based on the amount and distribution of your submental fat and your personal treatment goals. Each treatment session is given at least 1 month apart, and you should not receive more than 6 treatments. In clinical studies, 59% of patients received 6 treatments.
Before starting treatment, your healthcare specialist will examine the area under and around your chin to determine if the treatment is right for you. Then, your specialist will tailor your treatment to the amount of fat under the chin and your aesthetic goals.
What is the recovery period?
The downtime is minimal. You can expect to return to work or normal activities immediately. After treatment, you will likely have some swelling, bruising, or numbness under your chin. Be sure to inform your healthcare professional if you develop an uneven smile, facial muscle weakness, or difficulty swallowing.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a convenient non-invasive method for permanently reducing or removing unwanted hair. It leaves the skin looking smoother and silkier than waxing, electrolysis, and razors and is a gentle technic that can treat large areas effectively with minimal discomfort and with no downtime. Today, laser hair removal is one of the most common aesthetic procedures performed in the United States
How Laser Hair Removal Works
The laser emits a specific beam of light at a wavelength that targets the melanin in the hair at the hair growth center which is the hair bulb papilla region. The papilla is a large structure at the base of the hair follicle that nourishes the hair follicles by supplying nutrients and oxygen to the bottom layer of the epidermis cell. The bulge of a hair follicle is essential in the regeneration of hair as it supplies the hair follicle with new cells. For hair to stop growing back, these areas need to be seriously damaged.
There are 3 phases of hair growth. Phase 1 is the anagen, which is the active growth. Phase 2 is the catagen which is transition phase and the third phase is telogen, which is the resting phase. Laser targets only the active phase of hair growth. Not all hairs are in the anagen phase at the same time, therefore several treatments may be needed for complete hair removal.
What to Expect During Laser Hair Removal
You should also avoid sun exposure for six weeks before and after treatment. Sun exposure makes laser hair removal less effective and makes complications more likely. The area to be treated needs to be shaved the day before the procedure.
Pinkness or redness are usually the end point we are looking for during the laser hair removal treatment.
You may schedule your next treatment four to six weeks later. You may need to get treatments for 4-6 times until hair stops growing.
Recovery and Risks
For a day or two afterward, the treated area of your skin will look and feel like it’s sunburned. Cool compresses and moisturizers may help.
Over the next month, your treated hair will fall out. Wear sunscreen for the following month to help prevent temporary changes in the color of the treated skin.
Blisters are rare but are more likely in people with darker complexions. Other potential side effects are swelling, redness, and scarring. Permanent scarring or changes in skin color are rare.
